Resources
Resources
Resources fuel construction, unit production, ammunition and upkeep. Six of them are produced every production tick by resource buildings; Diamond is the premium currency.
| Resource | Produced by | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| Money | Financial Center | the universal currency: unit and building costs, upkeep, market trades, mission rewards and the national wallet |
| Metal | Metal Mine | units, buildings, fortifications and ammunition |
| Concrete | Concrete Plant | the main material for fortifications, also used by buildings |
| Food | Food Processing Plant | armies' upkeep |
| Petrol | Refinery | vehicles, ships and aircraft, both to build and to maintain |
| Uranium | Uranium Mine | advanced units, fortifications and strategic ordnance |
| Diamond | Bought in the shop | diamond packs, subscriptions, avatar frames and research boosts |
Volume
Every resource has a volume in m³: the cargo space one unit of it takes when carried by an army or traded. Cargo units (Naval Cargo, Plane Cargo) and cargo crates have a m³ budget, so bulky resources need more transport capacity.
Where resources live
- District inventory: resources produced in a district stay in that district until moved.
- Wallet: your personal reserve. Drag a district pile onto the wallet to deposit it, or drag from the wallet onto a district inventory to extract it.
- Armies: cargo armies carry resources and sealed crates between districts. Drag a pile onto an army to load it, and back onto the district inventory to unload.
- National wallet: the country treasury, fed by the production tax (see Government).
Production tax and national policies
A share of every building's production, the production tax, is paid to the country's national wallet. The government spends it on research, fortifications, fortification ammunition, mission rewards and production policies:
- National Production Bonus: +x% output for every player in the country for a limited time, paid from the national wallet; re-activating resets the timer.
- Production Focus: boost one resource by a percentage and penalize another for a limited time.
If the capital is occupied, industry policies are suspended and part of the production tax is diverted to the occupier until the capital is retaken.
Economy rankings
Country and player rankings track wallet size, resources produced, buildings built and credits traded.
