Fortifications

Fortifications are static country defenses: the government builds them in a district from the country fortifications panel, and they stay there to slow, damage, detect or intercept whatever comes at the district. Attack, defense, durability and cost scale with level.

Levels

Every fortification starts at Level 1 and is upgraded in place. Each fortification page has a table comparing every level. The research focus Fortification Speed shortens construction; an enemy Sabotage fortification spy mission halts it.

All fortifications

Ammunition

Fortifications that fire consume fortification ammunition, crafted as national production at the National Ordnance Plant.

Fortification Ammunition
Minefield Mines
Automatic Turret Turret Belts
Artillery Battery Battery Shells
Anti-Air System SAM Missiles
Anti-Missile System Interceptor Missiles
Defensive Drones Drone Munitions

Bombardment

These fortifications attack automatically from range. See Bombardment.

Strategic weapons

The Silo Launcher launches the ballistic missiles and nuclear bombs produced by the Missile Laboratory; the Anti-Missile System intercepts incoming ones. See Strategic Weapons.
