Construction

Country fortifications are built by the government: select a district on the map and use the country's fortifications panel. Build time, cost and upkeep depend on the level (see Stats). The research focus Fortification Speed shortens construction, and enemy spies can run a Sabotage fortification mission that halts construction in the district.

In action Minefield expends Mines, crafted as national production at the National Ordnance Plant. Keep it stocked; a fortification without ammunition cannot fire.

Tips

  • Damages units as they enter the district, so it works best on districts the enemy has to pass through.
